Why we are no longer odoo partner but still provide odoo
Being an odoo partner doesn't automatically mean high quality. IT IS works for 5 years now with odoo and implements it successfully for several customers. Our know-how from 13 years at ERP implementation before enables us to be responsive to the requirements of our customers and to get the best result. We make a big point of professional consulting and dimension projects just as big as needed.
Requirements determine the size of projects and which odoo version is needed. We want to remain true to our destination and that means to gibe the customer a suitable solution, which is the community version for one situation and the enterprise version for another situation. And yet the community version is not worse than the enterprise version and IT IS is no bad odoo provider at all, just because it's no odoo gold partner. It is due to odoo and the relative proximity to money who is partner, because just the ones that sell lots of enterprise licenses become partner. IT IS does not support this mindset and think it's inconsistent with it's company's goal.
Our main reasons to be no loger odoo partner:
Our goal is: Clients first and implement a solution that fits- partner accountants change very often
We don’t want to be depended on an editor – never ever again
odoo told us, Community is not in-line with their business model – friend or foe?
In the last two years we got five (totally useless) leads per year from Latvia, Poland, Czech… but we’re in Germany
We didn’t get paid for the revenue of our apps in the odoo app store and didn’t get the buyers name either, even after repeated requests
BUT:
We think that odoo is a great solution, still...
We think that empowerment should be coming from the whole ecosystem
We all are odoo
